Happy Birthday Finchley Film Makers

...and to celebrate we held a 80th birthday BBQ.

Apart from the delicious food and drink we had this fantastic cake. We did not believe it but every part was edible including the reel of film!

It was kindly donated by local company - the Great Little Cake Company and we thank them very much

Productions and club history

Video and Filming Advice

We have been producing both Drama and Documentary Films and Videos for the last 80 years. At any time the club will be either planning or producing a video which involves many of the club members. Click for details of productions in 2006 and 2005, some of our most famous productions from the the last 80 years and highlights from the club history.

Video is both a creative and technical process which can be quite mystifying to the beginner. We have members of all standards who are happy to give both technical and creative advice. Read one member's view on making movies.

IAC

The club is affiliated to the IAC (Institute of Amateur Cinematographers) a very useful resource for the film-maker.
